Noh Drama resources for Losen

If you have Ms. Losen, here are some resources about Noh drama that could be helpful in designing your masks and researching related topics:

By next Friday, I’ll moved this archived page from the old library web site to this site – and enrich it with more resources about costumes. In the meantime, these should provide a good springboard for getting started.

Renaissance – two journals for students in Art 3

Two journals in JSTOR are particularly relevant to the study of Renaissance artists. Remember to revalidate your JSTOR account while you’re on-campus (see related PDF in the library’s share folder) so that you can access the full text of the articles from home.

Once you open an article, switch to view page thumbnails so you can quickly navigate to the pages that contain images that interest you.

If you’re a modern-day Leonardo, you may also be intrigued by MIT’s journal Leonardo (1968-2006), dedicated to explorations of art, science, and technology.

Money smarts

Find resources for your study of personal finance and economics on the library’s Econ/Personal Finance Guide – whether you’re in Ms. Parker’s summer class or just learning on your own.

Resources for learning about child soldiers

If you’d like to learn more about child soldiers after attending the Invisible Children assembly, stop by the library to check out a book from the related book display or consult the list of online resources organized for you by the MW Library.
