A power-pose can lower stress…

…even in situations when you’re not feeling particularly powerful – or so say the findings of social psychologist, Amy Cuddy.  In her experiments, power poses practiced privately before a job interview lowered participants’ cortisol levels and improved their outcomes.

So the next time you need a boost of confidence and calm, consider finding a quiet place to strike a Wonder Woman pose for a couple minutes, then carry on.  Sounds like something worth trying at least once.
