Source types in online databases

When you use Noodle Tools to cite a source you’ve found in an online database, you must specify what type of source you found in the database to get the correct fill-in-the-blank form, and thus the correct, complete citation format for that source type.  Here’s how the question prompt appears in Noodle Tools:

In order to clear up some of the confusion students may experience in answering this question, here’s a handout (PDF) listing two examples of sources in each category from the Gale databases.  This handout is also available in the library’s share folder on the school network.
