MW Library profiled as an outstanding library

03 Jun

The MW Library is one of three school libraries profiled as one of the “Outstanding Libraries Actively Engaging Teens in Information Literacy” in the Information Literacy chapter of Connecting Young Adults and Libraries, Fourth Edition.

The featured schools are described as “institutions that deliberately integrate information literacy within their services to contribute to the positive development of teens…with the common goal of creating independent lifelong learners who are equipped with the flexibility that will help them adapt to the forever-changing landscape of information” (p. 96).
