Science Direct Journals Search

23 Sep

(Post updated January 2010) Since our subscription to Science Direct does not include ebooks, you’ll have fewer search frustrations if you use the Journals Search interface (one of the tabs under Advanced Search).  Once here, limit SOURCE to subscribed journals and DATES to 2005 to present.   Journals Search also gives you the option to limit the search by document types, such as article and/or review article.  The image below shows what the search screen looks like with the proper options selected.

Our subscription does not include off-campus access, so budget time to search this database from school!  If you choose to ignore my advice and search from home anyway, you won’t be able to access the full-text, so make sure you copy and paste the complete article citation (NOT the link to the article), so you can download it at school later.
